جامعة بنها ضمن أفضل 300 جامعة عالميا في 5 تخصصات علمية بتصنيف شنغهاي للموضوعات 2026
أعلن الاستاذ الدكتور ناصر الجيزاوي رئيس الجامعة، ان تصنيفناصر شنغهاي للموضوعات قد أصدر تصنيفه الجديد لعام 2026، حيث صنفت جامعة بنها ضمن أفضل جامعات العالم في خمس تخصصات وهم العلوم البيطرية والزراعية في مجال علوم الحياة، وتخصص الرياضيات بمجال العلوم الطبيعية، بالإضافة إلى تخصص علوم وتكنولوجيا الأغذية، وتخصص الأجهزة العلمية والتكنولوجية في مجال الهندسة.
واكد رئيس الجامعة أن تقدم ترتيب الجامعة في التصنيفات العالمية، يأتي في إطار سياسة الجامعة لتحسين مخرجاتها البحثية ورفع وبناء قدرات شباب الباحثين العلمية والبحثية.
وأضاف الجيزاوي ان تصنيف شنغهاي الدولي للموضوعات الاكاديمية والبحثية قد بدأ منذ عام 2009 ويحتوي على تصنيف الجامعات في أكثر من 57 مجال علمي تتضمن العلوم الطبيعية، والهندسة، وعلوم الحياة، والعلوم الطبية، والعلوم الاجتماعية وقد تم تصنيف أكثر من 2000 جامعة في 100 دوله.
وأشارت الدكتورة جيهان عبدالهادي نائب رئيس الجامعة للدراسات العليا والبحوث أن الجامعة قد جاءت عالميا بالفئة 101-150 في تخصصي علوم وتكنولوجيا الأغذية، والعلوم البيطرية، كما جاءت بالفئة 201-300 في ثلاث تخصصات وهم الرياضيات، والعلوم الزراعية، الأجهزة العلمية والتكنولوجية.
وأضافت نائب رئيس الجامعة للدراسات العليا والبحوث، أنه على المستوى المحلي، جاءت جامعة بنها في المركز الأول في تخصص الأجهزة العلمية والتكنولوجية، بالتشارك مع جامعتي الإسكندرية والقاهرة، فيما جاءت في المركز الثاني في تخصص علوم وتكنولوجيا الأغذية. كما جاءت جامعة بنها في المركز الثاني في تخصص الرياضيات، بالتشارك مع جامعتي القاهرة والزقازيق، بينما جاءت في المركز الثالث في تخصص العلوم البيطرية، بالتشارك مع جامعات الإسكندرية والقاهرة والمنصورة. وفي تخصص العلوم الزراعية، جاءت الجامعة أيضًا في المركز الثالث، بالتشارك مع جامعتي قناة السويس وطنطا.
من جانبه وجه رئيس الجامعة التهنئة للقيادات الاكاديمية والادارية وأعضاء هيئة التدريس وشباب الباحثين بالجامعة وبكليات الطب البيطري، والزراعة، والهندسة بشبرا والهندسة ببنها لهذا التميز.
الجدير بالذكر أن تصنيف شنغهاي العالمي للتخصصات الأكاديمية يعتمد على مجموعة من المؤشرات المرتبطة بالأداء البحثي والأكاديمي، من بينها جودة الأبحاث المنشورة، وتأثيرها العلمي والاستشهادات بها، والتعاون الدولي، إلى جانب مؤشرات تتعلق بأعضاء هيئة التدريس والمخرجات البحثية المتميزة. وتستند بيانات نسخة 2026، في عدد من المؤشرات البحثية، إلى إنتاج علمي للفترة من 2021 إلى 2025.

Benha University Ranked Among the World’s Top 300 in Five Scientific Disciplines by Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2026
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the newly released Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2026 has placed the university among the world’s leading institutions in five disciplines: Veterinary Science and Agricultural Sciences within the Life Sciences field, Mathematics within the Natural Sciences, Food Science & Technology, and Instruments Science & Technology within Engineering.
He emphasized that the university’s advancement in global rankings reflects its strategic commitment to enhancing research outputs and building the scientific and research capacities of young scholars.
Prof. El-Gizawy noted that the Shanghai Ranking of Academic Subjects, launched in 2009, evaluates universities across more than 57 scientific fields spanning Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences. The 2026 edition assessed over 2,000 universities from 100 countries worldwide.
Prof. Gehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, highlighted that Benha University was ranked in the 101–150 band globally in Food Science & Technology and Veterinary Science, and in the 201–300 band in Mathematics, Agricultural Sciences, and Instruments Science & Technology. The Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research further noted that, at the national level, Benha University ranked first in Scientific and Technological Instruments, jointly with Alexandria and Cairo Universities. It also achieved second place in Food Science and Technology, and likewise came second in Mathematics, alongside Cairo and Zagazig Universities. In Veterinary Science, Benha was placed third, in partnership with Alexandria, Cairo, and Mansoura Universities. The university also secured third place in Agricultural Sciences, together with Suez Canal and Tanta Universities.
The President extended congratulations to the academic and administrative leadership, faculty members, and young researchers in the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, and Engineering (Shoubra and Benha) for this distinguished achievement.
It is noteworthy that the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects relies on indicators tied to research and academic performance, including the quality and impact of published studies, citation metrics, international collaboration, faculty excellence, and outstanding research outputs. The 2026 edition draws on scientific production from 2021 to 2025.
